Rainy Day on the Beach...

Last weekend I was in Dingle on the west coast of Ireland photographing Martina and Peter's Wedding.

We had planned to do some photography on the beach at Inch after the service. As we came out of the church so the rain started. We drove down onto the beach anyway, and after a little hesitation Martina and Peter decided to get out in the rain with the brolleys! We were all pretty wet after 10 minutes of splashing about, but we got some fantastic shots and they had a great time.

It goes to show that you can get some really nice photographs in the most adverse conditions - and have some fun with it.

Welcome to my blog...

So I finally got a blog...

My intention is that I will use this space on the web to keep people up to date with what is going on in my world - or at least my world of photography.

Most importantly I hope that it will become a place where I can share some of my current work: Mostly, I expect, from weddings and portrait sessions but also some personal work or simply weird stuff that I like e.g. this image of my two eldest boys doing some impromptu "tricking" while on holiday in Dingle last week.
